Clients

Create a client

When you create a client, you can use their information to auto-populate fields in subsequent projects you create for the client.

  1. From the main Clients tab, click Add new client.
  2. Enter all fields in the form, then click Add Client.
    • You will be redirected to the client's project page, where you can begin drafting documents.

  1. From the main Clients tab, click the client you want to edit.
  2. Click the Profile subtab.
  3. Make the necessary changes and click Save.
Note: Any new projects created after the update will reflect the changes. Projects created before your changes will not be updated and you will need to make these changes manually in each project.

Archive a client

If you no longer actively work on certain clients' projects, you can archive them. Archived clients appear in a separate list and you can still access and edit archived clients, ensuring that your main (Active) list of clients only contain those you are currently working on.

  1. From the main Clients tab, find the client you want to archive.
  2. For that client, click the down arrow next to Active, then select Archived.

Unarchive a client

  1. From the main Clients tab, click the Archived subtab.
  2. For the client you want to unarchive, click the down arrow next to Archived, then select Active.

Delete a client

Administrators can delete clients.

Important: Deleting a client is permanent and cannot be reversed.
  1. From the main Clients tab, find the client you want to delete (in either the Active or Archived list).
  2. For the client, click the horizontal ellipses, then click Delete client.
  3. Click Delete to confirm.

Share and unshare clients

Administrators and users with Can share access can manage the access of account users with lower access levels to clients.

  1. From the main Clients tab, find the client you want to share.
  2. For the client, click the horizontal ellipses, then click Manage user access.
  3. Using the checkboxes, select or deselect the user(s) you want to share the client with.
  4. Click Confirm.

Understand the Client vault

The Client vault is a convenient way to store informational (non-form) documents. Documents added to the vault cannot—and should not—be moved to a client's project. To add forms to a client's project, refer to Add forms to project.

A client's vault can be viewed from their page. From the main Clients tab, click the client to visit their page, the select the Client vault subtab. You can also open a client's vault while in the the populate and drafting pages of a project for the client.

You can add documents from your computer to the client's vault by opening the vault and dragging and dropping document into the vault screen. If you don't have any documents in your vault yet, you can also click Browse to choose a file from your computer. If you already have documents in your vault, click the blank placeholder file + in the vault to browse and add documents from your computer.

From your vault, you can use the vertical ellipses for a document (More icon) to Rename, Remove, View, or Download the document.

Tip: You can use the client vault when populating or drafting documents. This is especially useful when you have reference documents or notes about the client that can help you fill your forms. While in the populate of drafting pages, simply open the vault and choose the document you want to view. It will open a side-by-side view of that document and the form you are working on.
