Download and print forms

 

Download forms while drafting

  1. From your home screen (Clients main tab), click into your client, then into a project.
  2. Click Go to populate, then click Go to drafting.
  3. Optional: To download a single form, select the relevant form from your list of forms on the right.
  4. Click Download at the bottom right of the page. Select the relevant option from the menu that appears.

    • Single forms: Select the form name (of the form you are currently viewing) to open it in a new tab in your browser. Use the download and print icons (top right) to save the file to your computer or to print it, respectively.
    • Combined PDF: Select this option to open all forms in your project as a single PDF file in a new tab in your browser. Use the download and print icons (top right) to save the file to your computer or to print it.
    • Zip: Select this option to download a zip file with individual directly to your computer.

    Tip: If you want to download select forms, you can use use the Combine PDF option above together with your computer's "print to pdf" functionality to manually select the right pages to download.

    1. After selecting Combined PDF and in the new browser window that opens, use the print icon to open the print modal.
    2. Change the destination of the file from your printer to the Save to PDF or equivalent option for your computer's operating system.
    3. Manually select the ranges of page that correspond to the specific documents you want to download.
    4. Click print and follow the steps do download the new PDF comprising of your selected documents.

 

Download signed packages

  1. From your home screen, click into your client, then into the project.
  2. Select the Signed documents subtab.
  3. Click into the signature package you would like to download.
  4. Click Download at the bottom of the page to open your form in a new tab in your browser. Use the download and print icons (top right above), to save the file to your computer or to print it, respectively.

Tip: Clio Draft font automatically left-justifies when a form is downloaded. To prevent the left-justification and return to your original form formatting use the following keyboard commands:

  • Ctrl+p (PC users)
  • Cmd+p (Mac users)
Note: Ad-blockers and pop-up blockers may prevent downloads from Clio Draft. Add draft.clio.com to your allowed pop-ups list and disable any ad-blockers that would prevent Clio Draft's download and print feature from functioning properly.

 

Download or print blank forms from Clio Draft

There are two ways to do this. One option is suited for scenarios where you frequently need to download a blank form. The other is when you infrequently need to download a blank form.

 

Infrequent need

  1. Select a client, then a project.
  2. Click + Add/remove documents.
  3. Add a form.
  4. Click Go to populate, then Go to drafting.
  5. Select the form from your list on the right to open it in the viewing area.
  6. Delete all filled data in the form.
  7. Click Download at the bottom of the page and select the file name from the menu to open your blank form in a new tab in your browser.
  8. Use the download and print icons (top right above), to save the file to your computer or to print it, respectively.

 

Frequent need

With this option, you will create a pseudo client to house all the blank forms you frequently need. You can add forms to this client at any point and download any added forms without having to erase any data. from an existing client.

  1. Create a pseudo client.
  2. Create a project for your pseudo client.
  3. Add your form(s) to the project.
    • You can return to your project at a later stage to add more forms.
  4. Click Go to populate. Delete all the data from all the fields. This ensures that when you continue with drafting a document, the form remains empty.
  5. Click Go to drafting.
  6. Select the relevant form, then click Download at the bottom of the page and select the file name from the menu to open your blank form in a new tab in your browser.
  7. Use the download and print icons (top right above), to save the file to your computer or to print it, respectively.
